The Role
As a Senior Engineer Demand, you will be responsible for understanding and analyzing business requirements and converting them into technical requirements.
You will work closely with business units to understand their needs and provide optimum solutions in a cost-effective and improved time-to-market. Your responsibilities will include facilitating all Digital Initiatives of the company, adapting Agile and DevOps concepts to improve Time to Market, and communicating the feasibility and cost estimate to business units based on their requirements.
Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and perform feasibility studies to provide feedback to stakeholders with appropriate solutions and recommendations along with Time To Market (TTM).
- Support and coordinate with stakeholders to align with expected business unit requirements.
- Manage technical deliverables from new products/services feasibility study to implementation based on business unit's requirements.
- Communicate with ADM (Application and Development Management) vendors about priority and requirement pipelines to manage resource capacity.
- Convert business requirements to functional/technical requirements to prepare feasibility studies & High Level Design (HLD).
- Develop cost analyses, design considerations, and implementation timelines.
- Agree with ADM vendors on complexity levels of solutions and expected man-days.
- Manage relationships with ADM vendors and technology partners to align technology capabilities with marketing/product needs.
- Manage and coordinate inter-departmental functionalities and communications between Technology and Business Teams within Ooredoo Kuwait for realizing strategic service/product launches.
- Manage and drive SLA/KPI for ADM and highlight project issues to higher management with recommendations for improvements.
- Set up acceptance criteria and post-development/deployment checks of features/products.
- Perform quality checks and performance KPIs for delivered products to business units with supporting documents.
- Seek approval from Design and Control (DAC) & Change Approval Board for smooth deployment.
- Solution delivery timeline, performance, SLA management, and Quality control of all solution deliveries covering all testing phases until UAT and regression testing.
- Discuss or validate business requirements for BAU's/TMO's and assign tasks to vendors ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Capture Configuration Management changes and proper documentation.
- Supervise System integration/Functional testing & Deployment to UAT environment.
- Assist management in developing and implementing procedures and standards to improve efficiency.
- Identify and implement measures to ensure future-proof solutions within budget.
- Vendor management.
