Biotechnology Educator

At American International University, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Biotechnology Educator to join our faculty team. As a leading institution in Kuwait, we offer undergraduate degrees based on the American model of higher education.

We invite applications for a full-time Faculty position appointment to teach Biology and Biotechnology courses. The ideal candidate is an innovative educator who leverages professional trends and technologies to deliver relevant classroom experiences.

• Teach basic and advanced biology courses
• Demonstrate experience with standard industry tools
• Utilize various instructional modalities (classroom, hybrid, and online learning)
• Familiarity with relevant instructional technology and learning management systems
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Biotechnology or a related field preferred
• Effective communication skills in English
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
• Experience working with English language learners a plus
