Our Mission

Amentum is dedicated to supporting U.S. military operations in Kuwait by providing exceptional language services. We are seeking skilled linguists who possess excellent English and Arabic-Modern Standard skills to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
  • Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
  • Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
  • Supply a variety of translation and interpretation services for Arabic-Modern Standard.

Requirements:

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must possess excellent command of Arabic-Modern Standard & English verbal skills; Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency level 3 in target language and proficiency level 3 in English based on oral and written language skills examination.
  3. Must hold a current U.S. passport.
  4. Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance for access to classified information.
  5. Must be willing to work in Kuwait.
  6. Must be willing to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24 x 7 operations.
  7. Must have familiarity with and ability to conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs.
  8. Must undergo medical examination.
