Job Overview:

This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on military tactical aircraft, including troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions in various systems. Responsibilities:
  • Aircraft Maintenance and Repair: Overhaul and repair aircraft subsystem assemblies and components, including engines, rotors, transmissions, and mechanical flight controls.
  • Servicing and Lubrication: Conduct routine servicing and lubrication of aircraft and subsystems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Preparation for Inspections: Prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Scheduled Inspections: Perform scheduled inspections and assist in conducting special inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Perform limited maintenance operational checks and diagnoses and troubleshoots aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment as required.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Use and perform operator maintenance on tools, special tools and aircraft ground support equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation and technical guidance.
  • Aircraft Component Maintenance: Maintain and repair aircraft components, including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation.
  • Maintenance Test Flights: Participate in maintenance test flights and operation checks as required.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.
