Job Summary:

The role of the Service Advisor is to serve as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. Their responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their vehicle requirements, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers, gather information about their vehicle concerns or service needs">
  • Provide accurate estimates for service costs and timelines">
  • Schedule service appointments and assign work to technicians">
  • Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work">
  • Keep customers informed on service progress and any changes or additional work needed">
  • Explain repair details, charges, and warranties to customers clearly">
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service">
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly">
  • Maintain accurate records of services, invoices, and warranties">
  • Promote service specials, products, and additional services when appropriate">

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or customer service training is beneficial">
  • Previous experience in a service advisor, automotive, or customer service role preferred">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks">
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems">
  • Proficient in using service software and Microsoft Office applications">
  • Valid driver's license">
  • 2-4 years of Automotive industry experience">
