Ladle Refining Furnace Process Manager

The role of the Lead Ladle Refining Furnace Operator is a critical one, requiring a high level of skill and experience in managing the ladle refining furnace process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgy and at least 8 years of experience in a Steel Melting Plant as a Ladle Refining Furnace Operator.
The main responsibilities of this position include overseeing daily operations of the ladle refining furnace, preparing and ensuring readiness of the LF, equipment, and auxiliary units, and coordinating with refractory SIC, EAF/LF supervisors, hot metal crane operators, CCM supervisor, and other relevant personnel for ladle and process management. Additionally, the operator must log all operational data into the Level 2 system, inspect ladle shell, slag bricks, lip jam, LF roof, and water leak points, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle emergencies and abnormal situations following SOPs and supervisor instructions. A diploma in Metallurgy or higher qualification is required, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a Steel Melting Plant as a Ladle Refining Furnace Operator, or 3 years as a Lead Ladle Refining Furnace Operator.
