Dishware Attendant

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic dish area, ensuring that all dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen equipment, and utensils are properly cleaned and sanitized.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into a dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays according to established procedures to ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• P polish silver items using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth as required.
• Ensure adherence to outlined safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain optimal temperatures and chemical levels as per provided standards.
• Keep the dish area organized and compliant with safety standards.

This position requires working in a commercial kitchen setting, where temperatures can be hot and noise levels may be high. The successful candidate will be able to adapt to this environment and maintain a focus on cleaning and sanitizing duties.
