Principal Workplace Strategist

Senior Workplace Designer Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Workplace Designer to join our team at Alghanim Industries. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead the design of various projects, including office spaces, warehouses, and maintenance workshops.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in architectural drafting, Auto CAD proficiency, and experience in Real Estate or Facilities Management companies. A strong understanding of space management principles and workplace design is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide accurate space occupancy calculations to support finance with real estate charges and planning.
• Assist the Facilities Management team by providing necessary drawings and diagrams for their day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with the safety team to develop and maintain necessary drawings and diagrams, including fire escape routes, gathering points, and other safety-related documentation.
• Work closely with the housekeeping and security teams to design and provide necessary diagrams for security booths, patrol locations/routes, and other relevant facilities.
• Design office and workspaces for various Alghanim businesses, ensuring functionality, efficiency, and alignment with organizational objectives.
• Lead the design of various projects, including storage spaces, warehouses, maintenance workshops, etc., ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Interior Design Diploma or related field (A bachelor's degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in architectural drafting and Auto CAD proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of space management principles and workplace design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of relevant safety and building codes/regulations is a plus.
