Drilling Operations Manager

Grey Wolf Drilling International Ltd., a subsidiary of Precision Drilling, seeks experienced Rig Managers to lead Kuwait operations. Key responsibilities include managing daily crew activities, coordinating rig moves, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Crew Management: Direct and manage daily activities of the rig crew in line with client goals and company expectations;
- Rig Moves: Coordinate with clients and transportation personnel for seamless rig movements;
- Safety Protocols: Ensure proper use of permit-to-work systems and HSE management tools;
- Relationship Building: Foster strong working relationships with operators, subcontractors, and other personnel on the rig;
- Inspections and Meetings: Participate in preventative and regulatory safety inspections and meetings as per the company's Target Zero Rules and Key Beliefs.
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of drilling industry experience in oil & gas well drilling;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the present position;
- Proficiency in computer hardware and Microsoft Suite software;
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
- Excellent safety leadership skills;
- Effective communication skills at all levels;
- Experience in managing personnel and operations;
- Ability to influence people and build customer relationships.
