Responsibilities

This position supports LOGCAP operations in Kuwait. Under supervision, the Communications-Electronics Technician Lead guides a team of technicians performing field-level maintenance services and repairs of vehicle radio installation kits.

Key Functions
  1. Lead and manage a team of COMMEL Techs.
  2. Perform full range of vehicle radios systems at the Field Level of maintenance.
  3. Meet work assignment deadlines within required man hours standards and requirements.
  4. Use correct technical manuals, bulletins, and written directives in the performance of duty.
  5. Troubleshoot equipment, diagnose problems, and perform corrective actions.
  6. Order required repair parts using appropriate parts manuals and/or automated systems.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
  • Ability to obtain Host Nation Driver License;
  • Must be Secret Clearance Eligible and/or Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience: At least three years of Work Experience in Communication Maintenance; One Year Leadership Experience Preferred.
  • Skills:
    • A Working Knowledge of Test Equipment.
    • Collaborative Work Style Fostering Cooperation and Teamwork.
    • Ability to Work Effectively with Employees and Management of All Levels.
    • Ability to Handle Confidential Company and Employee Information with Complete Discretion.
    • Intermediate Ability to Communicate in English, Both Verbally and Written.
    • Basis Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook Applications.
    • High-Level Organization and Planning Skills.
    • Ability to Read, Analyze, and Interpret Reports and Documents.
Working Conditions
  • Extreme Weather Conditions;
  • Indoor and/or Outdoor Environment with Harsh Conditions.
Physical Requirements
  • Heavy Work: Exerting Up to 100 Pounds Occasionally, Up to 50 Pounds Frequently, and Up to 20 Pounds Constantly.
  • Prolonged Standing, Sitting, Lifting, Stooping, and Climbing May Be Required.
  • Employee Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Is Mandatory In Some Situations.
