Job Overview

The Power Generation Manager II is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of power generation systems within assigned areas of responsibility. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage a team of personnel in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing power generators.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages power generation operations within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Supervises a team of personnel in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing power generators.
  • Ensures compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and quality specifications.
  • Plans and coordinates supervision, personnel, material, and equipment needs to meet schedules and budget constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in power generation operations.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of related experience in power generation operations.
  • Journeyman certification by the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) is preferred.
  • Power Pro Technician Certification is preferred.
  • Prior military and/or contingency experience is beneficial.
