Role Summary:
Bulk Plant Operations ManagerWe are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our bulk plant facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cement and acid blending plant management, with a strong focus on quality assurance, safety, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Ensure accurate preparation and timely dispatch of cement and acid blends from plants, maintaining consistency and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Identify and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous plant performance.
- Record Keeping and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of blending processes, inventory levels, and product quality, including regular inventory counts and proper documentation.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, quality standards, and HSE regulations related to bulk plant operations.
- Spare Parts and Equipment Management: Organize and maintain spare parts inventory safely, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- HSE Leadership: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of HSE regulations and lead initiatives to identify, mitigate, and report potential safety or environmental hazards.
- Team Management: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement among team members, conducting regular team meetings to review performance and safety.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics, identify opportunities for cost-saving improvements, and prepare operational reports for management.
- Customer Service: Participate in service quality meetings with customers, implementing action plans to enhance performance and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering; preference given to bachelor's degree holders.
- Minimum 6-8 years' experience in bulk plant operations or a related field, preferably with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining cement and acid blending plant equipment.
