Key Responsibilities- Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Promote error-free accounting reports and present results to management in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial information to summarize financial status and identify areas for improvement.
- Highlight errors and suggest ways to increase efficiency and reduce spending.
- Provide technical support and guidance on Management Accounting to ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures to enhance internal controls.
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the finance team to establish financial standards and participate in the forecast process.
- Contribute to the department's goal-setting process to align with company objectives.
- Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule to ensure timely completion.
- Support tax audits and tax returns to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure adherence to financial standards and internal controls.
- Plan, assign, and review staff work to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Facilitate the month-end and year-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant.
- In-depth knowledge of basic accounting procedures, including financial accounting statements.
- Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Advanced MS Excel skills to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills to drive financial decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
