Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Outside Plant Telecommunications Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing telecommunications cabling media, including coaxial, fiber optic, and UTP cables.
Key Responsibilities- Pull telecommunications cabling through various building architectures using buried conduit and heavy equipment.
- Terminate Category 5 UTP, coaxial, and fiber optic cables at designated work stations and in telecommunication closets and distribution frames.
- Prepare telecommunications rooms/closets in buildings to function as central and secondary distribution nodes for telecommunications cabling networks.
- Install hardware/systems such as cable trays, ladder racks, J-Hooks, and/or D-rings to support telecommunications cable pulls.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Fiber Optic repair Course preferred.
- 5 – 7 years' experience in the cable, telephone, and Local Area Network Installation and repair.
