Financial Planning and Analysis

At Insure & Secure Insurance Brokerage Co.W.L.L., we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Strategy Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with the ability to develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Monitor financial trends and make recommendations for improvements.

Budgeting and Cost Control

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will be responsible for creating and managing the company's budget, ensuring that expenses are in line with revenue. This will involve identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost control measures, as well as reviewing and approving expenditures and financial transactions.

Financial Reporting

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. This will involve ensuring that financial statements comply with accounting standards and regulations, as well as providing financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Risk Management

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will assess and manage financial risks, such as currency exchange rate fluctuations and market volatility. This will involve developing risk mitigation strategies and policies to protect the company's financial assets.

Cash Flow Management

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will monitor cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity for operations. This will involve managing cash reserves and investments to optimize returns while maintaining liquidity.

Financial Decision Making

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. This will involve evaluating investment opportunities and assessing their financial viability.

Financial Controls

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. This will involve conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Banking and Treasury Management

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will manage banking relationships and optimize cash management, including fund transfers and bank reconciliations.

Compliance and Regulation

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will stay updated on financial regulations and ensure the company's financial practices are in compliance. This will involve working with external auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary.

Strategic Planning

The Financial Planning and Strategy Lead will contribute to the development of the company's long-term financial and strategic plans. This will involve collaborating with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

Requirements:

  • CA / ICWA with 10+ years of progressive experience
  • Good knowledge of banking
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
  • Gulf experience and knowledge of Arabic is a big advantage
  • Good command over English
