Job Description:

As a Contract Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering all activities related to contracts for works and services associated with oil and gas facilities projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, while also providing advice on contract administration and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-award activities: preparation of bid invitation packages, evaluation of bids, negotiation, and contract award formalities;
  • Post-award activities: conducting kick-off meetings, coordinating contract submittals and correspondence, processing variation orders, claims, and close-out;
  • Drafting Invitation to Tender packages for large O&G facilities projects;
  • Reviewing and proposing comments on client contract conditions;
  • Collaborating with project management staff to establish the terms and conditions of a contract;
  • Monitoring and ensuring business provisions of assigned contracts are administered in accordance with contractual terms and conditions;
  • Ensuring documentation is properly produced and maintained for change orders;
  • Preparing letters to clients requesting approvals and interpretations necessary to comply with the provisions of the contract;
  • Furnishing business and financial information requested by clients concerning the project;
  • Identifying contractual problems and taking appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, with Chartered status (MRICS) or equivalent professional qualification post-graduation experience. You should have extensive knowledge of Contractual Terms & Conditions and Commercial Contract Law, as well as excellent understanding and experience of procurement and contract administration processes and principles.
