Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Site Lead. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of OCONUS Military Postal Offices (MPOs) and providing postal support to authorized personnel and organizations.

You will serve as the single interface between the MPO and our organization, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the performance of all work performed and personnel supporting the location.
  • Managing, staffing, and operational control of the location.
  • Maintaining overall responsibility for the operating MPO location in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS).

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to implement contractor postal management functions, ensuring organizational functions at the location and operating within established standardized processes and disciplines. You will be expected to be available to meet with on-site Military or government MPO representatives within two hours of notice, deployed site local time, to discuss postal issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or management-related fields AND 3+ years of experience in supervisory positions and managing postal service operations OR High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in supervisory positions and managing postal service operations.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive a standard transmission.
  • Must have an active passport with at least six months of validity remaining from the date of departure to the international destination.
  • Active secret clearance.

Additionally, you must possess the following abilities:

  • Ability to pass a medical prescreening for deployment.
  • Ability to travel up to 90-100% of the time.
  • Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to meet and maintain certifications/qualifications for deployment travel to hazardous duty locations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of individuals, including those at upper levels of the government.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate postal operations support.
  • Able to solve problems at the lowest level in a timely manner so as not to disrupt mail processing operations or dispatch.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
