Job Role: High Availability DBA

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high availability solutions for Oracle database systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance and availability issues.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in SQL and PL/SQL to automate administrative tasks and support data integrity.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless integration and uptime.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with expertise in administration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • A deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, backup/recovery mechanisms, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for administrative tasks and data handling.
  • Experience with Oracle tools such as RMAN, Data Pump, OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager), and related utilities.
  • Familiarity with Oracle APEX, Forms, or Reports is a plus but not required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
