Job Title:

A senior voice and video engineer is required to design, implement, and maintain large-scale Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of VoIP technologies, call and video routing, optimization, flow technology, customer service, and quality of service aligned with Department of Defense practices.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will work under pressure in various environments to ensure continuous voice and video call services. They will be responsible for implementing new and existing VoIP solutions, managing and maintaining Cisco Call Managers, collaborating with the Network Operations Center, providing technical support for voice and video networks, monitoring capacity, quality, and performance issues, performing regular system maintenance, following security and compliance standards, tracking network issues, and maintaining detailed network diagrams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • At least one baseline and one CE certification (e.g., Cisco CCNP: Security, CompTIA CASP)
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in technical, managerial, or analytical roles involving management information systems
  • Hands-on experience with VoIP technologies in medium to large environments
  • Skills include configuration management, asset documentation, networking solutions, troubleshooting, and communication
