Commercial Contract Specialist

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of contract principles, industry standards, and company policies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tender Preparation: Prepare tender packages according to client-approved formats and layouts.
  • Contract Administration: Raise requests for contract actions, monitor progress, and report on tender packages.
  • Client Support: Assist clients with pre-tender meetings, site visits, replies to queries, and evaluation of tenders.
  • Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities, review contractor correspondence, and provide recommended responses.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in company strategic planning, including risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, and business planning.
  • Team Leadership: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of contract administration by assigned contract administrators, make staffing assignments, offer training, and complete performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Full-Time Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Certification: Qualified as a Certified Contracts Manager by any reputable professional association.
  • Experience: 20+ years of post-graduation experience in contract administration, with 5+ years in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry, and 10+ years as a Contracts manager in an Engineering Company.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
