Complex Equipment Repair Technician

Job Description:

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex equipment used in various industries.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with troubleshooting and repairing tractors, diesel engines, gear boxes, high-pressure reciprocating pumps, centrifugal pumps, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To troubleshoot and repair problems on tractors and other non-standard equipment.
  2. To overhaul and repair diesel engines, gear boxes, and other complex equipment.
  3. To identify and stock the right spares inventory using parts manuals.
  4. To carry out fabrications and welding tasks as required.
  5. To repair and maintain instruments and instrument systems on all units.
  6. To be available for short notice visits to job sites or highway equipment breakdowns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in an oil field company.
  • Kuwait Light/Heavy Duty Driving License is required.
