About the Role

As a Strategic Financial Planning and Process Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives for Strategic Financial Planning and Financial Accounting and Control units. Your key responsibilities will include defining, scoping, planning, and managing business process improvement projects in line with group/department/management strategy and objectives.

  • You will lead process improvement initiatives within Group, and in conjunction with suppliers/vendor, to deliver efficiencies and benefits to internal and external customers of department.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of rules, regulations, standards, and best practices in the field and related matters of interest to the area.
  • You will enable, direct, and manage the delivery of projects focused on improving/digitizing business processes using structured tools/methodologies in line with Project Management methodologies.

In addition, you will participate in developing the Group's capital expense budget (covering systems and projects), and reviews actual expenses and variances. You will identify improvement opportunities and appropriately act on improvement requests from the higher management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. Desired attributes include an MBA in the required field, as well as certifications in Business Intelligence and Project Management Methodologies.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience is required in Finance/Accounting within Banks or Financial Institutions in similar roles.
  • Language(s) known: English (Proficient). Desired Attributes: Arabic (Proficient).
