Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies for the modern trade channel, aligned with the company's overall sales plan.
  • Manage the end-to-end customer relationship management with modern trade customers, building long-term growth strategies and resolving queries and disputes.
  • Create annual sales plans for the modern trade channel, aligned with the overall sales plan for consumer sales.
  • Lead a team of merchandisers and key account executives to drive visibility and off-takes through the modern trade outlets.
  • Proactively scan the market and lead customer pitches for developing new accounts and growing existing accounts.
  • Achieve modern trade sales targets in terms of sales volume, profitability, market share, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in sales roles managing modern trade channels.
  • Experience in FMCG organizations is desirable.
  • MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from a reputed university.
  • Strong ownership and result orientation, with excellent knowledge of international and local laws and regulations.
