Taxation Specialist

The Group Tax Analyst plays a pivotal role in Kuwait tax operations and oversees the tax functions of Zain Group entities. This position involves tax planning and strategy, compliance, tax audits, and tax accounting matters.

• Assisting in the development and implementation of Group corporate tax strategy and Tax Planning initiatives.
• Supporting the Group's Tax Senior Manager, Group functions, and Group entities' tax departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Assisting in the development and implementation of efficient international and domestic tax structures.
2. Monitoring and analyzing changes in tax cases, domestic and international tax laws and regulations, and assessing their impact on the Group and its subsidiaries.
3. Identifying tax risks at the Group and communicating with senior management.
4. Managing external tax advisors' consultancy engagements and participating therewith.
