Product Development Manager

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Product Development Manager to lead our commercial product initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to drive successful product launches and manage third-party manufacturing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Product Development:
- Identify market opportunities and develop commercial product feasibility forms.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across all functions.
- Work closely with external manufacturers to develop, test, and finalize products for launch.
- Vendor Engagement & Management:
- Assess and negotiate with co-manufacturers or private label vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance, ensuring reliability, innovation, and compliance.
- Internal Collaboration & Project Coordination:
- Act as project manager for commercial product initiatives using tools like MS Project.
- Lead periodic reviews with cross-functional stakeholders to track development and timelines.
- Marketing Integration:
- Translate consumer insights into viable commercial product ideas.
- Collaborate with Brand and Trade Marketing teams to position and support products effectively in the market.
- Logistics & Cost Optimization:
- Work with the Supply Chain team to optimize logistics scenarios.
- Explore and recommend optimal sourcing geographies or vendor clusters to reduce lead time and logistics risk.
