Job Summary:
The Financial Controller role is a key position in our organization, reporting directly to the General Manager and leading the Finance department.
About the Role:
This senior finance position involves managing profit and loss statements, cash flow management, and project reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial accounting, analysis, budgeting, and reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adequate P&L management, cash flow management and timely reporting of business key projects.
- Leading the finance team in financial accounting, analysis, budgeting, and reporting functions.
- Collaborating with the Regional Finance Director in developing SAP Finance.
- Efficiently transitioning accounting duties to the Finance Shared Service Centre located in Dubai.
- Providing strategic financial insights within project decision-making processes.
- Ensuring on-time delivery and completion of all key project milestones.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks, opportunities, and financial exposure.
- Monitoring company assets, ensuring accurate records and adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Arabic language is essential.
- Possession of CPA/CA/CMA/CFM or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills for financial data analysis, preparing reports, statements, and long-term and short-term budgeting and forecasting.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP software is required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
