Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of civil engineering projects, from planning and design to construction and completion.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Kuwaiti building codes and regulations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

 

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Engineering Design and Planning: Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Site Investigations and Feasibility Studies: Conduct thorough site investigations and feasibility studies to identify potential project risks and opportunities.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Reporting and Quality Control: Prepare and submit reports to project managers and clients, and perform quality control inspections and testing to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies, and adhere to all Kuwaiti building codes and regulations.

 

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with experience in Kuwait preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Kuwaiti driving license.
