Company Overview

Kuwait Steel is a multicultural and diverse team that operates in Kuwait. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will be part of this dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume administrative and clerical support duties to optimize office workflow procedures.
  2. Manage day-to-day activities for the legal function in support of our business operations.
  3. Review, draft, negotiate, and/or amend commercial contracts.
  4. Advising the company on its rights and responsibilities under Kuwaiti law.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A Law Degree from a reputable university.
  • At least 5 years of legal practice experience.
  • Prior experience in a law firm or large corporate practice is preferred, but not required.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Kuwaiti law, including the Company Law.
Skills & Qualities
  • Strong contract drafting and interpretation skills.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to provide sound legal advice.
  • Ability to deal with complexity.
