Administrative Lawyer

We are seeking a talented and skilled Contract Administrator to join our diverse team. The role involves providing administrative and clerical support to optimize workflow procedures in the office.

The candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of the Legal function to support operations, including:

1. Providing proactive, solutions-focused, legally sound advice and support in a timely manner.
2. Leading the review, drafting, negotiating, and amending commercial contracts.
3. Advising on rights and responsibilities under Kuwaiti law.
4. Maintaining local regulatory awareness for business operations.
5. Providing dispute resolution advice, handling, and involvement.
6. Managing external legal counsel utilization, quality, and cost.
7. Offering general corporate law advice and company secretarial support.
8. Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including trade embargo regulations.
9. Preparing and reviewing tender documents for clarity and fulfillment.

The ideal candidate should possess:

1. A Law Degree from a reputable university.
2. At least 5 years of legal practice, preferably in law firms or large corporate environments.
3. Experience in the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
4. Detailed knowledge of Kuwaiti laws, including Company Law.

An excellent command of English and Arabic is required.
