Lead Engineering Dean Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance to oversee the engineering school's operations, focusing on faculty supervision, curriculum development, and research promotion. As the Lead Engineering Dean, you will work closely with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and contribute to the university's growth.

You will be responsible for managing budget allocations for the engineering school and collaborating with departments to achieve their goals. Additionally, you will maintain relationships with external partners and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Supervise faculty members and departmental staff
  • Develop and implement curriculum for degree programs
  • Promote research initiatives within the school
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners
  • Ensure compliance with institutional and specialized accreditation systems

Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Doctoral degree in a relevant field from a reputable institution
  • Experience:
  • Documented record of administrative leadership experience
  • Minimum six years of teaching and research at a higher education institute
  • Skills:
  • Demonstrated record of collaborative decision-making
  • Experience in multicultural and multilingual environments
  • Budget management skills
