Job DescriptionAs a Country General Manager, you will lead our strategy in Kuwait, aligning it with regional objectives and global goals. You will oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, including market expansion, investment opportunities, and partnerships in the power, finance, and investment sectors.
You will work closely with senior management to ensure that our presence in Kuwait continues to grow and maintain a competitive edge. Key responsibilities include government relations and stakeholder management, strategic leadership, market analysis and business development, and team management and development.
Key Responsibilities- Government Relations & Stakeholder Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-level government officials, including ministers, key regulators, and decision-makers within Kuwait's power, finance, and investment sectors.
- Navigate governmental processes and procedures to ensure smooth business operations and compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Represent us in discussions with local authorities, stakeholders, and partners to align business goals with government policies and initiatives.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Lead and drive our strategy in Kuwait, aligning it with regional objectives and global goals.
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, including market expansion, investment opportunities, and partnerships in the power, finance, and investment sectors.
- Work closely with senior management to ensure that our presence in Kuwait continues to grow and maintain a competitive edge.
- Market Analysis & Business Development:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, government policies, and investment opportunities to identify potential growth areas.
- Guide business development efforts by leveraging expertise in the power, finance, and investment sectors.
- Lead negotiations with key partners, investors, and government entities to secure new projects and investment opportunities.
- Team Management & Development:
- Lead a diverse team, providing direction and mentorship to ensure high performance, accountability, and alignment with corporate goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within our Kuwait operations.
- Identify talent gaps and support recruitment, training, and professional development for team members.
