Description of the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a Head and Neck Surgeon to join our team at Alert International. The successful candidate will be responsible for treating people of all ages with a wide range of diseases, including conditions that affect the senses, voice, breathing, swallowing, and head and neck tumors.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide general care to patients on hospital wards and in outpatient clinics;
• Assist the Consultant in investigating, diagnosing, and treating medically or surgically all patients referred to his specialty;
• Participate in peer review, quality-related activities, and other clinical/administrative meetings when deemed necessary;
• Involve in departmental and hospital-wide performance monitoring & Improvement activities;
• Keeps current with new procedures and techniques in the field of his specialty;
• Maintain the highest professional standard of conduct in line with organization's policies and procedures and internationally accepted standards;
• Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Requirements:

• MBBS and Specialty Master Degree;
• Not less than 7 years of experience, 2 years after the Master degree;
• Ability to work long hours, often under pressure;
• Ability to analyze complex information;
• Active communication skills and ability to explain medical terms to patients;
• A resilient and compassionate personality;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.
