Physics Instructor

About the Role:
American International University seeks a highly qualified full-time faculty member to teach physics courses for engineering students and within our university-wide general education program. The ideal candidate is an experienced educator with a PhD degree in Physics or a related field, effective communication skills in English, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. They should also have experience working effectively within a diverse university community and a willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach basic physics, general, and advanced physics courses for engineering students
- Develop and implement curriculum materials that align with industry standards
- Assess student learning outcomes and contribute to program assessment
- Participate in academic advising and mentorship programs

Required Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Physics or a related field
- Effective communication skills in English
- University teaching experience
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship
