">As a key member of our USO team, the Center Operations Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and programs. This dynamic individual will be responsible for executing day-to-day center operational procedures, maintaining a safe, welcoming, and clean environment, and enforcing sanitary and food-handling guidelines and regulations.
">Key Responsibilities
">The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels. They will be proficient in using computers and electronics equipment, with working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and volunteer management software.
">What We're Looking For
">We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can demonstrate sound judgment related to controversial and culturally sensitive subjects. The successful candidate will be able to show initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
">About You
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have 2+ years of work experience in event management, marketing, retail, customer service, recreation facility, or a related role. Relevant experience in a non-profit, military, multicultural, and/or global organization is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid United States passport and driver's license are necessary for access to USO center locations and facilities.
