Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operations Specialist. The role involves overseeing the receiving, storage, and issuance of goods and materials. A successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

About the Role
The Warehouse Operations Specialist will work directly under a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Counting and sorting incoming material to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices.
  • Examining stock for quantity and conformance to specifications; storing material appropriately.
  • Filling orders and issuing supplies from stock; preparing periodic and special inventories.
  • Compiling reports on stock handling equipment, inventory adjustments, damage, shelf life, location changes, and shipment denials.
  • Preparing daily CDRLs for Inventory, Receipts, Issues, and other reports as required.
  • Labeling articles using appropriate equipment.
  • Adjusting inventory records, determining storage methods considering environmental factors and space limitations.
  • Ensuring physical security of sensitive and pilferable items, storing them per Army Regulations and policies.
  • Maintaining inventory and stock records using computer systems, categorized by material type.
  • Maintaining USG personnel clothing records.
  • Handling unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety policies and regulations.
  • Safeguarding Army Property and Equipment.
  • Using Automated Information Systems (GCSS-Army, ISM, General Stores) to manage records and reports.
  • Maintaining accurate CIF's OCIE Property books in ISM.
  • Ensuring high-quality customer interactions regarding issue, sales, shipping, turn-in, and DEX processes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; experience may substitute education.
  • Experience in warehousing and storage operations; three years military or civilian experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license; ability to obtain U.S. Government and Kuwait driver's licenses.
  • Ability to maintain USG Network access and CAC card privileges.

Additional Skills
Candidates should also possess the following skills:
  • Operability of material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and storage requirements.
  • Leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Discretion, good judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in English communication and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Work Environment
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in extreme temperatures exceeding 120°F, in harsh outdoor and indoor environments. Potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents; PPE required as necessary.
