The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at a reputable institution invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Vision, Network/Cyber Security, Hardware in Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics.
Job Summary:
We seek an accomplished professional to join our faculty team as a Professor of Computer Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English, be ambitious, self-motivated, and hard-working, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching and mentoring students in Computer Engineering courses
- Conducting research in Computer Vision, Network/Cyber Security, Hardware in Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics
- Collaborating with research centers and institutions to advance knowledge and innovation
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in Computer Engineering or a closely related field from a reputable North American (U.S. or Canada) or Western European university
- At least three years of teaching experience after the doctoral degree
- An excellent publication record in leading peer-reviewed journals
