Expert Pipe System Technician

This position will be physically located in Kuwait to support a large-scale project.
Under the supervision of a senior facility inspector, you will maintain and repair pipe systems, plumbing fixtures, and appurtenances. Your duties will include installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing pipe systems designed to conduct the flow of water, sewage, and industrial wastes.

- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair pipe systems for conducting water, sewage, and industrial waste flows.
- Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education.
- CAC eligibility and/or the ability to obtain a Common Access Card are mandatory.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License are required.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Trade school and apprenticeship certificates are also necessary. Candidates must provide proof of their diplomas or certificates.
- Experience: At least three years of directly related work experience are required. Current plumbing licensure is mandatory.
- Skills: Experience with installation, assembly, and repair of pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Working Conditions: This role requires working in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Indoor and outdoor environments with adverse and harsh conditions (hot, dry, desert environment with temperatures of 30 to 130 degrees) are also expected. Some industrial production environment conditions are included.
- Physical Requirements: This job involves light physical exertion, up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently or constantly. Heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing and sitting, and working in areas with potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents are also involved. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use is required, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. All safety regulations and policies must be complied with.
