About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait's Trade Finance team as an Assistant Manager-LC Import, Export. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of letter of credit settlements, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Letter of Credit Settlements: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, guaranteeing all due bills are paid punctually.
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Corporate, International Banking, and Legal Divisions to facilitate approvals, manage limits, and oversee advising and confirmations.
  3. Workflow Optimization: Propose and implement strategies to enhance workflow efficiency, increase productivity, and improve customer service.

You will work closely with the team to ensure transparency and accountability, maintain strict compliance with all Trade Finance policies, procedures, and regulations, and foster a culture of adherence within the team.
