At Seagull International Llp, we are seeking a highly skilled Cost and Contract Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project development department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Job Summary:

The Cost and Contract Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, including exploration, drilling, production, and infrastructure development. This involves developing and maintaining detailed project budgets, tracking and monitoring project expenses, identifying potential cost overruns, and recommending corrective actions.

You will also generate regular financial reports, including cost forecasts and variance analysis, to ensure that our projects remain within budget. Additionally, you will assess and manage financial risks, including price fluctuations in materials, labor, and resources.

In this role, you will work closely with our procurement teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing and purchasing of materials and services. You will also negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms for the company.

As a Cost and Contract Engineer, you will prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring they are legally sound and align with company policies and project goals. You will also ensure that all contractual obligations are met by both parties and monitor the progress of contracted works.

We are looking for a candidate with good experience in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry, particularly in the Gulf region. Having experience in Kuwait is an added advantage. Immediate joiners are highly accepted, and the candidate must be available in India mandatorily.
