Electronics Systems Specialist

This position is responsible for leading a team of technicians that handle all the Field Level Maintenance services and repairs of Vehicle Radio Installation Kits.

Under supervision, the Electronics Systems Specialist is responsible for guiding and managing a team of technicians to provide maintenance and repair of tactical communication systems installed in track and wheel vehicles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding and managing a team of technicians.
  • Performing full range of vehicle radios systems at the Field Level of maintenance.
  • Completing work assignments within required man hours standards and requirements.
  • Troubleshooting equipment, diagnosing problems, and performing corrective actions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Ability to obtain host nation driver license.
    • Must be Secret Clearance eligible and/or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum three years' work experience in communication maintenance.
    • One year leadership experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • A working knowledge of test equipment.
    • Collaborative work style fostering cooperation and teamwork.
    • Ability to work effectively with employees and management of all levels to include multi-national staff, superiors, and ranking military officers.
