Design Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled design engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems to meet project specifications. This includes conducting feasibility studies and preparing cost estimates for new projects, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and manufacturing teams throughout the project lifecycle, using CAD and other design software to create detailed technical drawings and specifications, and performing engineering calculations to ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically related to transport solution products and static equipment design. Proficiency in Arabic and English is also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Review sub-vendors' drawings and obtain client approvals.
  • Coordinate with the production department to resolve drawing-related issues and raise deviations when required.
  • Participate in kick-off and design approval meetings with end users and consultants.
