Key Responsibilities:- Direct and control all operational functions of the rig, including drilling, movement, and maintenance.
- Ensure that drilling operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of rig crew members to maintain a high level of productivity and safety.
- Oversee the work of Toolpushers on both day and night shifts, ensuring consistency in operations and safety practices.
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during drilling operations.
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the rig crew and the Rig Manager, ensuring effective communication and coordination of operations.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, maintenance, and safety, to ensure that all aspects of the drilling operation are aligned and supported.
- Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and equipment maintenance.
