Job Overview

The MIS/Specialist Support Unit plays a vital role in providing technical support to ensure a clean and consistent view across the platform. This position requires strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to manage data efficiently and conduct analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Provide users with information that may not be obtainable from existing system reports, analysis, or inquiries. Develop codes to extract data, validate rules, and test outcomes.
  2. System Maintenance and Support: Manage and maintain Department's MIS systems, ensuring user accessibility and rights. Work closely with Line manager to provide exceptional service to clients.
  3. Project Coordination: Schedule and facilitate project team meetings and documents. Participate in design discussions with Units and lead members for template creation for data capturing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Business Administration or Management Information Systems or Science in Computer Engineering/Computer Science as a minimum.
  • Minimum 6-8 years experience in any banking/financial institutions with fair understanding/knowledge of banking products and practices.
  • Exposure to PC associate techniques like MS Office suite, exposure in data modeling tools like SQL, database management, Business Objects, and latest reporting tools.
