Job Description

As a Chief Financial Analyst with Gulf Cryo, you will be responsible for maintaining and controlling general ledger accounts and accounting transactions in accordance with IFRS standards. You will provide assistance to the Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant/Credit Controller in quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, monthly management reporting, and during annual audit processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day processing of accounts transactions to ensure effective, up-to-date, and accurate company finances.
• Assist the Senior Accountant/Chief Accountant/Credit Controller with monthly and year-end operations of the accounting department, including budget review and analysis.
• Process and record AP transactions, ensuring accurate payment of invoices and staff reimbursements in accordance with finance policies and procedures.
• Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivable, and work closely with the team to ensure revenues and receivables are reconciled with Salesforce data at any given time.
• Review expense coding to ensure compliance on a monthly basis.
• Process functional and benefits expenses allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation, and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary.
• Ensure the monthly closing is completed within specified timeframes for all modules related to AR, AP, and FA.
• Maintain regular monthly Customers and Suppliers balance reconciliation.
• Process invoices, debit memos for any adjustments on restocking fees, currency issues, and transferring goods between customers.
• Post all cash receipts, discounts, allowances, price differences, returns, and other chargebacks to customer accounts timely and accurately.
• Maintain thorough, well-organized accounts receivable customer files by scanning documents and sorting by customer.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills in partnership management and inter-department coordination.
• A keen eye for minute details with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and reporting skills.
• Ability to handle relevant software like Microsoft Dynamics for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
