Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at V2X Inc.

About the Role:

  • Ensure overall quality of maintenance at the site, training and certification of employees, inspection of safety of flight maintenance repairs, and the quality assurance audit program.
  • Establish, maintain, and implement quality standards that meet the requirements of the KAF 4790.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in formulating organizational policies and operating procedures for the program.
  2. Implement, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the Quality Support Program.
  3. Act as the subject matter expert on-site for the KAF 4790 and implement company and program policies and procedures.
  4. Review reporting requirements for accuracy, clarity, and comprehensiveness before release.
  5. Review technical problems and procedures, recommending solutions or changes.
  6. Direct, implement, and continuously improve the quality system to achieve performance standards.
  7. Oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
  8. Organize and promote companywide quality improvement efforts.
  9. Evaluate and develop improved techniques for quality, reliability, and safety control.
  10. Provide timely Quality Maintenance Evaluation Program reports.
  11. Implement all aspects of the Safety and Quality Programs.
  12. Conduct investigations into mishaps or customer complaints relating to contractual deficiencies within the Quality Program and recommend corrective actions.
  13. Ensure compliance with Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
  14. Administer the Functional Check Flight (FCF) program and manage the Training Program.
  15. Provide oversight to the technical publications program ensuring the master technical library is current and complete.
  16. Ensure currency of KAF 4790 and OEM Publications, Maintenance Instructions, Work Instructions, and Quality Procedures.
  17. Responsible for Deficiency and Maintenance Analysis and Data Base Management.
  18. Ensure necessary summaries and analyses are submitted to the Program Manager.
  19. Recommends changes to processes and programs for the Site Manager's approval.
  20. Assists in aircraft/equipment movement and flight line foreign object prevention walks.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a C-130 Quality Assurance supervisor implementing COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series aviation maintenance program instructions.
  • Minimum of 10 years' aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Maintenance Administration functions.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to audit, administrate, monitor, and manage all applicable maintenance programs.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain the following required certifications/qualifications:
    • Aviation Gas Free Engineering (AVGFE) certification
    • Hydraulic Contamination certification
