Job Summary
As a seasoned facilities management professional, you will be responsible for overseeing all staff on site, ensuring they are properly trained and developed to represent our client to the highest standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- To deliver high-quality hard and soft FM services in compliance with the contract by providing expert guidance.
- To formulate strategies that meet service provision demands, ensuring added value, increased productivity, and efficiency.
- To exercise financial and commercial controls within agreed parameters to maximize profitability and identify cost savings opportunities.
- To maximize the contract by successfully managing accounts, proactively developing business opportunities, and creating innovative solutions prior to recognizing client needs.
- In conjunction with the finance department, provide accurate operational forecasts and assume full responsibility for actual performance against budget.
- To effectively manage sub-contractors and ensure seamless collaboration.
- To provide exceptional customer care and support.
- To achieve a safe working environment by coordinating and improving health, safety, and fire aspects, including efficient accident reporting and near miss processes.
About the Role
Our ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in facilities management, including 5 years in the GCC region. They should have full facilities management responsibility on delivering a FM service contract on at least one iconic project in the Middle East.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- A strong understanding of commercial aspects of large or iconic facilities management contracts.
- Experience in financial reports, including service budgets and performance against budget on a large FM service contract.
- An appreciation and hands-on experience of health, safety, and fire hazards within FM service contracts.
- The ability to manage white and blue-collar staff and motivate on-site teams.
- Strong account management skills and management of key internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential for this role.
