Job Overview

This is a physically demanding role located in Kuwait, supporting LOGCAP operations. The incumbent reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor.

The System Manager oversees and maintains an accurate and up-to-date inventory control system, involving transfer orders and DD1348/MRO files on a daily basis. They also monitor and check daily GCSS-Army operations, controlling and verifying all data input into the GCSS-Army system. Additionally, they produce management reports, process supported customers' requests into the system, coordinate system workload, and maintain perpetual inventory systems ensuring that the inventory is completely counted monthly and quarterly.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage stock control operation and daily GCSS-Army operation such as processing of goods receipts through MIGO and PGR process, monitor warehouse activity for overdue transfer orders.
  2. Prepare and monitor daily workload for section.
  3. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date control of files on a daily basis.
  4. Control and verify all data input into GCSS-Army.
  5. Produce and analyze management reports.
  6. Provide technical assistance to staff as required.
  7. Maintain all GCSS-Army equipment.
  8. Work with and in conjunction with other departments to accomplish all required tasks.
  9. Monitor and evaluate work performance of the employees to ensure they are in compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all regulations pertaining to their assigned duties.
  10. Ensure that employees are always in compliance with established Safety Policies and Regulations.
  11. Ensure safeguarding of all Army property and equipment.
  12. Implement Work Performance Training when required.
  13. Perform other duties and assignments as required.
