Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Treatment: Investigate, diagnose, and treat patients with conditions related to orthopedic surgery;
  • Interventional Procedures: Undertake interventional procedures or surgeries as part of treatment and/or diagnosis, within delineated clinical privileges;
  • Peer Review: Participate in peer review, quality-related activities, and other clinical/administrative meetings when necessary;
  • Health Education: Promote health education and ensure provision of support for junior staff in the department;
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with new procedures and techniques in the field of orthopedic surgery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • MBBS and Specialty Degree: Possess an MBBS degree and a specialty degree in orthopedic surgery;
  • High Qualification: Hold a high qualification such as a specialty diploma, fellowship, PhD, European Board, American, Canadian, German, Irish, or UK Board certification;
  • Experience: Have at least 12 years of experience, with 7 years after the high qualification leading to Consultant level licensure;
  • Willingness to Relocate: Be willing to relocate to Kuwait.
