Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a leadership role in our dairy manufacturing operations. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for delivering key performance targets, including safety, quality, productivity, volume, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale. This will involve ensuring the effective implementation of our manufacturing strategy while fostering a high-performance organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the dairy sector, particularly ice cream production, and must have held a managerial role such as Plant Manager (small facility) or Production Manager (large-scale facility). You will be responsible for supporting all manufacturing standards, governance, and compliance requirements, including corporate quality, food safety, and GMP, health and safety, security, environmental sustainability, code of conduct, operational policies, local legal requirements, and internal audit norms.

A key aspect of this role will be driving operational improvements necessary to achieve the annual operating plan, ensuring cost efficiency, workforce and equipment optimization, and timely production within budget. You will also be responsible for developing employees through upskilling and reskilling programs, defining and managing training needs within the department. Additionally, you will embed lean methodologies across the entire manufacturing value chain and optimize plant operations to maintain a leadership position in the industry and stay updated with latest manufacturing trends.
