HPC Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote HPC Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-performance computing and experience with designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge software solutions.

This is a remote position based in EMEA or the Americas regions. You will be working with a globally distributed team to identify and prioritize project requirements, design and develop software solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery through debugging and testing.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test high-performance software applications using Python.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Debug issues and implement fixes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Contribute to technical documentation and best practices for authoring high-quality operators.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with writing modern, maintainable Python code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes, Public cloud, OpenStack, LXC/LXD, Python, Go, Debian packaging is an advantage.
